GeoDecisions Acquires GeoPlan© Software
(Nov. 21, 2008/Harrisburg, Pa.) GeoDecisions, an award-winning leader in the information technology industry that specializes in geospatial solutions, announced that it has acquired GeoPlan software from Regional Planning Technologies, Inc. (RPT). The new agreement provides GeoDecisions with the ability to improve and expand its level of support for all GeoPlan software users.
GeoDecisions’ GeoPlan modules offer clients an affordable and efficient system to manage data and perform various functions, including property management, permitting, code enforcement, sanitary sewer maintenance, and geographic information system (GIS) mapping. GeoDecisions also offers customized GeoPlan training, services, support, and software packages.
Previously, GeoDecisions offered GeoPlan software through the firm’s strategic partnership with RPT. Through this arrangement, GeoDecisions provided GeoPlan technical on-site and on-call support and training to more than 40 clients. During this time, GeoDecisions gained significant experience in managing and implementing the software package.
